Shell and tube heat exchangers with a compensator on the casing are used in the oil, petrochemical, chemical, gas and other industries for tasks with a clean environment in the casing and when the temperature difference between the casing and pipes is more than 50 ° C. The main feature of such a heat exchanger is the presence of a temperature expansion compensator on the casing. The compensator allows the use of devices in temperature conditions, in which it is impossible to use devices of the type TH.
The heat exchanger consists of a bundle of heat exchange tubes fixed in tube sheets, a casing with a compensator, chambers, covers, fittings and supports. A compensation unit is located on the casing. The design of heat exchangers, testing and control of manufacturing stages are carried out in accordance with the requirements and standards of PED, ASME, GOST or according to individual technical projects, taking into account the specific operating conditions and customer requirements.

The range of application of such heat exchangers is much wider than that of tubular heat exchangers with fixed tube sheets and without compensation units.
